Fashionable and trendy bike. Looks very new still. It�´s the type of bike out of grandmother�´s time, with a "nowadays-touch". We let them come from Holland on purpose to being able to use them here on Mallorca (just some months ago).

It is one of two bikes which are from both my daughters. It was a birthday present and they were/are very happy with and proud of their bikes. For this reason we decided to let them come over from Holland, so they could enjoy their really need bikes here. Unfortunately, it has not been for a long time, that at least one of my daughters has enjoyed her bike. We suppose that the thief(s) must be people who just "knew" the bikes were there, as it was impossible to see them, without knowing that they were there.

Theft protection:

The bike was locked and stood, together with another identical bike, (however in a dark green colour) at our outdoor private parking, under a roof, (Apartment Building America, No. 1. ). It was not possible to see the bikes from the street. Even on the private parking it was difficult to see the two bikes, as our private parking is in the most far-away corner of the whole parking place, that belongs to Edificio America 1. The bikes were both locked. The strange thing is, that just one bike was gone and the other one was/is still there (of course in the meantime we removed the dark green Batavus "Old Dutch" bike in the meantime, to prevent it from being stolen as well!).

We made a "denuncia" at the Guardia Civil of �´s Arenal here on Mallorca and hang up leaflets in the area. We hope we�´ll get her bike back, as it makes no sense to buy another bike as this bike has a lot of emotional value.
